Thomas Muller and company punished the Catalans, beating Barca 4-0, giving them a commanding lead Rybné as they head to Barcelona for the second leg. Mueller scored two goals in the victory and Arjen Robben and Mario Gomez both added a goal each, as well.
Dortmund punished Real Madrid in a similar fashion. Dortmund was on the attack from the outset and did not let up. Polish international Robert Lewandowski struck a semi-final record four times stunning Jose Mourinho’s squad. Real Madrid’s only goal came from Cristiano Ronaldo in the 43rd minute.
A Tough Second Leg for Spain’s Finest
