NFL Wildcard Weekend has Arrived: 4 Pack of Picks Here

The National Football League has reached it’s wildcard round. The wildcard round features four games, and 8 teams. The divisional leaders are taking the weekend off, before they get together next weekend with the winners of these games. It should be a very entertaining weekend of National Football League action. Let’s take a look at our picks for the 2018 NFL Wildcard Round picks:

BET ON THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE AT PADDY POWER

Kansas City Chiefs -8 over Tennessee Titans

Andy Reid is back in the postseason as the head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs. He takes his team into the postseason with Alex Smith at quarterback. Smith was up and down this season, with five wins to start the season. The Chiefs needed a couple big wins late in the season to get back on track and win the AFC West. Kareem Hunt will be the main man on offense for Kansas City, as he led the NFL in rushing yards. They will host the Tennessee Titans, who won in Week 17 and got some help from other NFL teams. The Titans have seen an ineffective Marcus Mariota for too much of the season.  The quarterback had 15 interceptions to just 13 touchdown passes this season. The Titans have turned to Derrick Henry over DeMarco Murray at the running back spot, but both have seen ineffective games. Look for the Chiefs defense to be the key here. The Kansas City Chiefs at home are going to take care of business and win this game over the Titans. Take the Chiefs -8.

Atlanta Falcons +6 over Los Angeles Rams

Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams have been one of the big stories of the National Football League season. McVay has a great shot at being the Coach of the Year in the NFL. But, the story is coming to an end here. Matt Ryan against Jared Goff and that’s going to the veteran quarterback. Ryan has been poor for most of the season, but he can turn it on when he needs to. Look for him to use his top target early and often in this game. The Falcons defense will come up with a game plan to slow down Todd Gurley and force Goff into tough spots. In a down season for Matty Ice he still threw 20 touchdowns, and more than 4,000 yards. Him and Julio are going to take down Los Angeles. Take the Falcons on the road at the Rams in the wildcard weekend.

Jacksonville Jaguars -8 over Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills are another team that kind of snuck into the postseason. They will have a tough time moving the football against the Jaguars in this game, especially with LeSean McCoy being beat up. If McCoy cannot play in this game, they are in big time trouble. Look for the Jaguars to give Leonard Fournette a heavy dose of the football, and let the defense do the rest of the work.  Quarterback Blake Bortles has lowered his interceptions this season, with 13 to 21 touchdowns. This is the first start in the postseason for both Blake Bortles and Tyrod Taylor, and neither will be fantastic, but the defense for the Jaguars wins the game. Expect Jacksonville to rudely welcome the Buffalo Bills to town on Sunday. Take the home team by 10+ points in this game.

Carolina Panthers +6 over New Orleans Saints

Throw the regular season games out the window in this game. These are two pretty good National Football League teams that are hungry to be the next NFC South team to get to the Super Bowl. The Panthers are just two years removed, while it’s been awhile for Sean Payton and his Saints. Cam Newton has a MVP under his belt, and will be better than he was in the recent loss to the Panthers. While Newton’s weapons are not elite status, they are good enough to win a playoff game.  The big key here is Greg Olsen gets back on track. A week ago him and Cam Newton were not on the same page, and the Panthers looked bad. Newton uses his arm and his legs in this game. Look for Carolina to go on the road and beat the Saints, which would set up a second round battle against the Minnesota Vikings.

BET ON THE NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE AT PADDY POWER

There it is. Those are our favorite National Football League Wildcard round picks. We have gone with the two favorites out of the AFC, and two underdogs to win out of the NFC. There should be some great football action this weekend! Best of luck with all of your National Football League betting, and enjoy the action.
