Tuesday 22nd October

Our Top Tuesday Tips

  • Atletico Madrid v Bayer Leverkusen – Atletico Madrid to win to nil – 7/4
  • Manchester City v Atalanta – Manchester City to win to nil – 13/10
  • Tottenham v Red Star Belgrade – Tottenham to win to nil – Evens

I’ve gone big on the Win to Nil market this week on bet365 and I think the best value in this bet comes from the games which see the defensively formidable Atletico Madrid taking on the out of sorts Bayer Leverkusen. In form Man City, who have not conceded a goal in this competition as yet, taking on Atalanta at home and lastly Spurs, seeking to bounce back from their Bayern humiliation, facing Red Star Belgrade at home, with Belgrade being another team that don’t travel particularly well in Europe.

Our Tuesday Accumulator

  • Atletico Madrid v Bayer Leverkusen – Home Win
  • Shakhtar Donetsk v Dinamo Zagreb – Home Win
  • Club Brugge v Paris St Germain – Away Win
  • Galatasaray v Real Madrid – Away Win
  • Olympiakos v Bayern Munich – Away Win

This is a real lop-sided selection of games on Tuesday night and this is reflected in the value of this fivefold accumulator which would return at odds of just 8.92/1. That means a £10 stake would see you return £89.20 if the bet was a winner.

Wednesday 23rd October

Our Top Wednesday Tips

  • Ajax v Chelsea – Draw – 5/2
  • Red Bull Salzburg v Napoli – Home Win – 8/5
  • Genk v Liverpool – Away Win to Nil – 13/10

I’ve gone for three games I like the look of this week on what is a much tougher set of games to predict on the Wednesday night. I am backing Chelsea to earn a positive result in Amsterdam against a very talented Ajax side. Both teams are young and talented, but I feel Chelsea have that extra edge that Valencia and Lille lack to earn what would be a fine point here.

I also feel Red Bull Salzburg have shown enough firepower in their games so far to be a real threat against Napoli, who were held by Genk last time out in Belgium. I can’t see the Italian side enjoying this visit to Austria too much and I do feel the home side will snatch the win.

Finally, Liverpool should enjoy a positive night in Belgium if they can find their best form. It eluded them against Manchester United at the weekend, but they will know nothing less than a good win on the road in Belgium will suffice here and I think they will get it.

Our Wednesday Accumulator

  • Ajax v Chelsea – Draw – 5/2
  • Benfica v Lyon – Draw – 27/10
  • Red Bull Salzburg v Napoli – Home Win – 8/5
  • Inter v Borussia Dortmund – Draw – 5/2
  • Lille v Valencia – Away Win – 17/10

This whopping fivefold bet offers massive odds of 318.18/1 if the bet is a winner, which means that for a £10 stake you would land an amazing £3181.80 if the bet is a winner.

Thursday 24th October

Our Top Thursday Tips

  • FC Porto v Rangers – FC Porto to win and both teams to score – 21/10
  • Partizan Belgrade v Man Utd – Draw – 12/5
  • Slovan Bratislava v Wolves – Wolves to win and both teams to score – 13/5
  • Celtic v Lazio – Celtic to win – 6/4

My four tips for Thursday’s games focus on the British teams taking part. I think Rangers have the toughest task of all the British teams this week, taking on an FC Porto side that are more used to cutting it in the Champions League. As such, I think the Gers will come unstuck in Oporto and while I fancy them grabbing a goal, I can’t see them taking anything from the game.

After drawing with Liverpool at the weekend, I think Manchester United’s confidence will be improved for this tough trip to Belgrade and I fancy the Red Devils to pick up a point here. I also think Wolves will do well on the road as they take on a tricky side in Slovan Bratislava. However, Wolves recent improvement in form, especially on the road where their counter attack threat is so potent, makes me believe they can land a win here even if the home side do grab a goal.

Lastly, I think Celtic can cause something of a surprise in beating a Lazio side in Glasgow. The Rome-based team are not the best travellers away from home in Europe and they have already lost in Cluj in this competition and as such, I am backing Celtic to make it another defeat for Lazio here.

Our Thursday Accumulator

  • Besiktas v Braga – Draw – 12/5
  • Qarabag v APOEL Nicosia – Home Wi – 23/20
  • Roma v Borussia Moenchengladbach – Draw – 5/2
  • Getafe v FC Basel – Home Win – 5/6
  • Dinamo Kiev v FC Copenhagen – Home Win – 5/6

Back this fivefold bet with bet365 Sport for Thursday night’s Europa League games and you could see your £10 stake return at odds of 84.99/1, which means that you would earn back £849.90 in profit should your bet be a winner.
