Welcome to part one of our detailed Sports Betting Calendar. Our look at the major sporting events you can bet on every year across a wide range of sports.
In this first of a three-part series, we will be focusing on the events that start in January through to the end of April each year.

Of course, some events on the Sports Betting Calendar will start in one month but conclude in another. To offer greater clarity, we have used the start date of the event to signify its position in the calendar.
For example, while the PDC World Darts Championship Final is contested in January each year, the tournament starts mid-December. Therefore, the PDC Darts World Championship will be in December in the sports betting calendar.
In subsequent posts we will cover sporting events from May to August in Sports Betting Calendar Part 2 and then September through to December in our Part 3.

Events are listed in chronological order where possible. However, there may be changes to the calendar which affects the order in which events are contested in future years.
Non-Annual events which take place during these months will have how often they take place shown in brackets.
