Even though we are still a few days away from Super Bowl LIV, it is never too early to start thinking about Super Bowl LV. Sportsbooks have already released the betting odds for next year’s Super Bowl, and the top five betting odds are listed below.
Let’s take a look at each of the five teams and see how they stack up heading into Super Bowl LV.
Kansas City Chiefs +600
The Kansas City Chiefs are slight favorites to win Super Bowl LIV, and it’s hard to see them not being a huge factor next season as well. Kansas City will return quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.
The Chiefs are loaded with weapons on offense, and they should be the class of the AFC West again next season. It will be interesting to see what happens in Super Bowl LIV, but the Chiefs could be the betting favorites to repeat as Super Bowl champions next season.
Baltimore Ravens +800
Quarterback Lamar Jackson was the talk of the National Football League this season and will likely be named MVP of the league. Jackson ran for over 1,200 yards this season, and the Ravens averaged over 200 rushing yards per game as a team.
Baltimore struggled when it came time for the NFL Playoffs to begin, but its 14 regular-season wins were the most in the NFL. The Ravens should be the heavy favorites to win the AFC North again next season, and it looks like they will be a strong contender to win it all.
San Francisco 49ers +1000
It didn’t take long for the San Francisco 49ers to get their franchise back on track, and now it looks like they are going to be solid for several years to come. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is only going to continue to get better, and their offensive scheme is extremely difficult to stop.
San Francisco also has one of the best young defensive players in the NFL on its team in defensive end Nick Bosa. The 49ers are in a very difficult NFC West, but they should be very good over the next few years. San Francisco could also be a team looking for its second straight Super Bowl championship.
New Orleans Saints +1200
The New Orleans Saints have the fourth-best betting odds to win Super Bowl LV, but their championship window appears to be closing in a hurry. Quarterback Drew Brees is still putting up record-breaking performances, but his age is going to catch up with him at some point.
The Saints had a disappointing performance in this year’s NFL Playoffs, and they have had three straight heartbreaking defeats to end their season over the past three years.
New Orleans will have another great shot at it next season, but it is going to have to start cashing in on its opportunities before it is too late.
New England Patriots +1400
The New England Patriots failed to win a playoff game this season, but they are still given some great odds to win Super Bowl LV. New England will have to answer a ton of questions before next season begins, most notably at the quarterback position.
Tom Brady still looks like he can play the position at a high level, but it is unclear whether or not he will be playing next season in a Patriots uniform. New England also needs to bring in some more talent on offense to make the team more explosive.
The Patriots will have their dominant defense back on the field next season, but their offense could be a huge question mark.
